MsMufflaren - Charter a Classic 1929 Mahogany Boat in Stockholm

A K-marked Pettersson mahogany boat for private tours, weddings, and exclusive events in Stockholm's archipelago. Up to 6 guests.

Unforgettable Moments, Guaranteed

Private Exclusive Tours

Stockholm looks different at 10 knots. Quieter. The city opens up in a way it doesn't from the street. And on a boat this old, you stop checking the time. That's sort of the whole point.

Celebrations & Special Occasions

You could book a restaurant. Or you could charter a K-marked 1929 mahogany boat and watch the sun set over Djurgården with the people who matter most. One of those options gets talked about at dinner parties for years. It's not the restaurant.

Wedding Transport

Pull up to your wedding on a classic 1929 mahogany boat. MsMufflaren turns the trip to the ceremony into a special memory.

VIP & Corporate

Pick up your clients at the dock instead of the lobby. MsMufflaren makes any meeting, dinner, or event feel like something worth showing up for.

The Pettersson boats are instantly recognizable: long, slim hulls, straight stems, and the distinctive curved bow detail known as the "öronböjen." Carl Gustaf Pettersson designed these vessels during the golden age of Swedish boat building, and very few originals remain in operating condition today.

MsMufflaren was rebuilt in 1934 at Trosa shipyard, also designed by Pettersson himself. The look she has today with her raised foredeck and enlarged superstructure, is exactly how she appeared nearly 90 years ago.

Step Aboard a Stockholm Legend

She's hard to miss at Strandvägen Pier 21. A 10 meter mahogany Pettersson from 1929, sitting low in the water between modern fiberglass boats. People on the pier slow down when they walk past her.

MsMufflaren has been part of Stockholm's waterfront since before World War II. The covered aft deck fits 6 guests, and a rain cover keeps you dry if the weather turns. She cruises at 10 knots. Fast enough to get somewhere, slow enough to actually enjoy it.

Exclusive charters for up to 6 guests. From wedding arrivals to private evening cruises, tell us what you have in mind and we handle the route.

Nearly a Century on Stockholm's Waters

MsMufflaren has carried many names through her life: Hobby, Lookatten, Carna, and Pulle - before becoming Mufflaren. She has had home harbors in Stockholm, Österskär, Eskilstuna, and now Vaxholm.

During her time in Södermanland, she served as a representation boat for the director of the Gense factory. Today, after careful restoration and ongoing maintenance, she is in remarkable condition for a boat approaching 100 years old.

In 2021 she was officially K-marked as a culturally significant Swedish boat, a recognition reserved for vessels of true historical importance.
